Coming Home to Your Body

Do you find yourself judging your body constantly?
Do you feel disconnected from what your body needs?

This workshop may be for you! We will be exploring gentle movement in the body and learning tools to help you safely arrive back to the present moment within. Learn how to become more compassionate, curious and connected with your body. Class will include a combination of lecture, group discussion, writing exercises, guided meditation, and gentle yoga.

We spend most of our lives disconnected and frustrated with our bodies, beating ourselves up about the things we perceive to be wrong. We will be focusing on meeting yourself where ever you are in your journey and finding a more compassionate place of gratitude, respect and curiosity with your body. This workshop will invite you to explore what it feels like to be present with compassion in your body, take care of it from a place of self-respect, practicing forgiveness and self-compassion while learning how to reconnect with the powerful wisdom your body holds.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal with a pen.
No yoga experience needed, all are welcome!
