In this circle we honor the tea, elements and our highest self. Together we drink in the medicinal powers from old growth tea trees that come from the ancient high mountains in Yunnan and Taiwan. Tea is a great connector . It connects us to earth, self and oneness. It is plant medicine, bringing us just what is needed.
Seating will be on the floor, and limited to eight spaces to create an intimate Sacred Circle. We will weave in the energies of the full moon and allow it to illuminate what needs attention in our lives. Often, this is quite different then what we perceive it to be. After an introduction and intention setting, I will open the ceremony and anchor the space with a short guided meditation. The tea is served in silence. After the last bowl, we will conclude the circle and open up the space.

I fell into yoga after wearing out my physical body from a lifetime of avoidance from my subconscious thoughts. There were many avenues for my avoidance, in the more recent years I trained and participated in Ironman triathlons. After experiencing injuries, I finally got the message to start taking care of myself in a more loving way. I began doing yoga and within 8 months I signed up for yoga teacher training with my teacher at the time. It was such intense period in my life that I tried to wiggle my way out of the teacher training program, even after putting down a hefty deposit. My teacher was not holding space for that idea, so I began and completed my 200 hr level yoga teacher certification. Sometimes all we need to do is begin, take that first step.
During yoga teacher training I learned how to become more present with myself and others. I met my meditation teacher during this period, and that changed my life. I had beautiful experiences with meditation from the beginning and I felt inspired to stay on that path and make it an integral part of my day.
Tea entered my life in Saint Petersburg, FL in 2017, where I previously resided. I met my tea teacher, Ashley Smith, who regularly held tea ceremonies. She studied with tea master Wu De, of The Global Tea Hut in Taiwan. I quickly fell in love with tea and it became a daily practice in my home.
Over time the tea released many layers of deep hurt and repressed anger that were buried deep within my subconscious. I was able to clear the stagnant energy, and discover the root of my anger that was created when I was a child.
I host private tea ceremonies in residences and also in the setting of forests. I bless and give gratitude to the earth.
